![]() The man had long dark red hair that hung around his face and almost to his shoulders. "I am, thank you," she bit the inside of her cheek as she tried to tamper her smile down. The accent was different than all of the natives she encountered, so she knew it had to be another tourist like her. "Are you enjoying yourself?" a thick accented voice asked from beside her as someone approached her. The bite of the seawater on her cheeks made her smile harder than she had in a long time. She dressed herself in one of her big brimmed hats with a flowy white and pink shirt tucked into her favorite pair of teal pants. Today she had chosen to ride a ferry boat over to one of the islands just off the coast of the town that she was staying in. She could spend an entire day sleeping and then explore the city at night with all of the lights in the skyscrapers dancing against each other like stars. She could spend a day or three in the cat cafe instead of going on the city tour she had signed up for. She could make an impromptu trip down to the beach and watch as the waves drifted over the rocky shores for an hour while sipping on a green tea from the cafe down the street from her hotel. Other than that she could do whatever she wanted. ![]() ![]() She didn't have any responsibilities other than making sure that she caught her flight on time. When she was across the ocean and traveling, she felt free. She felt like she had to soothe every bump in the road, every scratch, every heartache, everything. The problem was that she loved it all too much. She loved spending time with her little sister even if Lily insisted on breaking into her room and going through her things whenever she needed something. She loved spending time with her parents even if they were a little too much sometimes. She loved working as a nurse in the hospital with Jackie, even if he was quickly barrelling towards burnout. It wasn't that she didn't love them, because she did. She felt so much freer when she was across the seas and away from her family. Please be nice to me in the comments, but I could love to hear your thoughts! Stay sissy and bitchy everyone <3 At the end of the day, this game is art and art is subjective so no one has to see it the same way that I do but I wanted to explain why I came up with this oneshot. The fact that Gustav and Stella knew each other earlier on in life, and that one of her artifacts from her life as a wedding ring kind of made me think that maybe she and Gustav got married and got divorced at some point when his resentment about his condition got the best of him. But, I picked up on some hints that kind of intrigued me. I've also noticed that everything has been kind of friendship/platonic relationship based, so I'm a little nervous to be posting something romantic as well. ![]() Warnings: Mentions of death and mentions of unhealthy relationshipsĪ/N: So this is my first Spiritfarer fanfiction, and I know that the community is kind of close knit so I'm a little nervous to post this. Please tell me there's a way to fix this, let me know if anything needs clarification.Summary: Stella meets someone on her trip to Japan, someone that makes her feel more alive than she has in a long time. I can provide screenshots of this if needed.ĭoes anyone know how to fix this? I need a Spirit Flower in order to progress and I can't do that without this quest going through! I saw one post on this subreddit from a guy that was experiencing a similar bug, and his only solution was to start a new game completely from scratch - which I really don't wanna do! On top of all of that, if I hit the improve button and drag the clicker all the way over to her house, it says that the improvement has already been "complete", so it's not like I can do anything else. The quest still says: "Improve Gwen's house by using the blueprints", and when I talk to Gwen herself, she just says "Remember that you can IMPROVE any house using the improve button (or something similar)." I was recently given the quest to improve Gwen's house, I did that, but neither my "quest list" or Gwen herself will acknowledge it. Okay so I've sunk about 7 hours into the game and I currently have five spirits on the boat.
